Wilde and Free Workshop!

Hi friends

A belated Happy New Year to you!

The weather has been awful with heavy rain and floods everywhere - in fact there is  lightening and thunder at this very moment.  My poor garden has taken a battering with fallen fences everywhere!  Oh dear!

But what has cheered me up is the wonderful art workshop that I'm taking at the moment called "Wilde and Free", with the very lovely Micki Wilde, otherwise known as "The Secret Hermit".  It is a mixed media class with a tribal theme. (Go look at her blog for all the info. on her classes - she's on my fave blog list, see below for the link!)  Part of the workshop is to make your own tribal stamps, and here are some of mine:

Once I started, I couldn't stop! It was so much fun!  I highly recommend her workshop, so go have a look!

I am also in the middle of a journal page swap and a paper doll swap with "Mixed Media Workshops"  - come and join in - they are a friendly bunch!

Wishing you all a wonderful week!

  1. Oh sorry to hear about your fences, ours came down only a few months ago, it's been crazy windy in the UK over the past year!! Fingers crossed the floods don't go your way!!

Love all the stamps you made, looks like you had a ton of fun with them!! I think I need to spend another day making some more ;)

  3. Your tribal stamps are really cool! And I can image they'll come in very handy on your mixed media pieces :)

  4. I wish I lived closer. I would love to see your paper dolls and journals (if they aren't too private). I have been working in my own art journals for years and they are really a free space to create in. Am loving it.

  6. Happy belated New Year Lindsay. Love your stamps, I can see you getting lots of use with them. Up until 1.00 in the morning, now that's impressive! These storms do seem to be relentless, I feel so sorry for those who have been flooded out of their homes.
